China Trip 2008
On the 22nd till 28th, I went to Shanghai - Huangshan - Hangzhou - Ningbo - Shanghai.
Shot a couple of pics...Enjoy~
I sat and slept on the seat by the left wing, I woke up and was greeted by this view.
On the other side, I was greeted by this beautiful sunrise.
Day 1 - Shanghai
Was walking around and spotted this famous hotel.
Was kinda amazed with its both architectural and abstract aspects.
This is the CCTV tower. China TV :P
The view of Shanghai once on top of the tower. Est 320 metres.
An outside view from the Hotel's lift lobby. It's actually homes of Shanghainese. Look at how its being hidden from the vast development of the city.
One of many Buddha statues in the temple.
This alley was seen between rows of retail outlets from the mainroad.
The other alley was occupied by this roadside cobbler.
Just slightly deeper in of the alley away from the cobbler.
Then that night, we attend a Shanghainese Wedding ceremony. This is one of the item served where we will never get here in KL.
After the wedding dinner, we head to Huangshan by train. A freaking 11+ hours ride. This is the corridor to our "luxury room".
This is where we gonna stay for the next 11+ hours. The comforter may look thin but it does provide good warmth as its freaking cold when its in the wee morning. Not too bad, quite comfy room.
Day 3 - Huangshan
We went to this mountain where I really forgotten its name. Nothing much, just mainly scenery but really good looking coloured trees, very nice layered rocks, emerald green waters.
It's locks at the Lover's Bridge. The lock is used for couples to lock each other together. HAHAHAHA !!.
More sceneries and waterfalls.
Day 4 - Hangzhou
Again I forgot what place was this as I'm really bad in remembering names especially in Mandarin. OMG!!
No idea whats this but I like this shot.
These were the famous 'Loong Zheng' Tea garden.
The rest of these is taken at the West Lake. Very popular tourist spot irregardless of domestic or international tourists. Alot of couples were seen taking thier wedding pictures here. Easily 3 to 4 pairs on a weekday.
A Stainless Steel Dragon is on the loose in the "women's Fashion Street".
Day 5 - Ningbo
Silhouette of the Dragon Boat's tail.
And this is my friend. He admires the sun quite alot.
Another alley at some rural area.
This is where a couple of "Fortune Teller" lives.
Outside the window of the Fortune Teller's home.
The altar outside the Teller's room.
This is where they stood, light a cigarette and chill.
Day 6 & 7 - Back to Shanghai
Famous street in Shanghai. Lots of fashion retail outlets n dozens of tourists
"Shanghai Beach" lolz.
This is where my trip ends and heading towards the airport.
Bye~
